French Toast
Ingredients

challah bread

eggs
1
cup
milk
whole
2
tbsp
sugar
1
tbsp
cinnamon
ground
1
tsp
vanilla extract
1/4
tsp
nutmeg
ground
Instructions
Cut the challah loaf into 1 inch thick slices.
Whisk together the remaining ingredients until it is light and frothy.
Soak the bread slices in the batter for 30 seconds on each side.
Over medium-low heat cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom side looks dry along the edges.
Flip and cook other side for 1-2 minutes.
Serve with butter and maple syrup.
Recipe Notes
Keep cooked pieces warm in the oven set to 200 deg F
